Artists based in Waltham Forest are invited to take part in a musical project with acclaimed audio/visual electronic duo artists Addictive TV.
The company, known for remixing material, and sampling from films and TV, will work with local rappers, singers and musicians from a variety of musical cultures to record their work.
The council is also preparing to open a funding scheme that will see over £500,000 invested in local organisations and projects through the Fellowship Funding scheme.
The chosen musicians will be filmed performing outside their homes and at iconic landmarks across the borough for the music video. Recordings will then be sampled to create a new collaborative piece of music that will be performed live by the duo.
The project builds on Addictive TV's Orchestra of Samples project, which features recordings from more than 200 artists across the world in 30 countries.
