Progress on the Eclipse housing development at the 2.8-ha Mandora former industrial site at Hookers Road and Blackhorse Lane moved closer to completion in October, with the government’s Help to Buy scheme open to first-time buyers.
Developer Taylor Wimpey East London announced that applications to buy properties at the development via the government-led scheme would launch on 21 October.
The Eclipse development comprises 484 residential units, a 519-unit student accommodation building, plus retail, community and employment space, with a cafe.
Michael O’Leary, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, said: “We are very excited about the launch of Eclipse, which will offer an exceptional opportunity for property-seekers to purchase a brand-new apartment in a desirable and vibrant area of London.
