Hadley Property Group has announced the second round of public consultations for development proposals at South Grove in Walthamstow will take place this week.
The plans will be on display at The Mill in Coppermill Lane on Thursday 21 January and Walthamstow Library on Saturday 23 January, where the public will give feedback on proposals for new homes and public spaces.
More than 200 people attended a public consultation hosted by Hadley Property Group in November 2015, after the developer announced plans to build 450 homes near St James Street Station in Walthamstow.
The proposed scheme is the latest for the site, located on an underused car park, where plans to build a Morrisions supermarket and 245 homes fell through in 2015 after the retailer pulled out.
The developer wants to demolish part of the industrial estate on the site, which includes the Alpha Business Centre, to pave the way for new homes, landscaped public squares and the potential for further commercial development.
Danielle Torpey, a senior development manager at Hadley Property Group, said: “We believe there is a fantastic opportunity at South Grove to revitalise this part of the town centre with new homes for Londoners, including affordable housing, as well as new landscaped public spaces in a car-free and cycle-friendly development."
